Another artwork from a driftwood trove. This piece of teakwood is likely from the fishing boat rib and gave the perfect home for this mink whale. They are hunted from a few countries, likely Japan. It is believed that there are some 500.000 mink whales living in all the oceans.

This is another kind of penguin. I combined ebony wood with white teak wood. The result looks much more like a living penguin. This may be 100 years old Teak cut, was a part of a patio railing from a Karo house in Sumatra. Now it´s the home of this hard working elephant. Termites had been chewing away a big part of the softer wood. Size 14x13x4cm approx.

May be this trunk of a teak tree was carried away from the jungle by an elephant,as this piece is over 100 years old. The elephant was cut from the inner part of this chunk of teak wood.
