This whale ,maid from a piece of Nanka driftwood,is a typical sample of my wood art concept. Too narrow for fins and flukes,I had to use the wood pieces left over from the smaller rear body.This woodart object has to extra small legs to stand alone.Size 50x17x6 cm

Gosh, where is my camera? Was not expecting to see such a big whale right in front of our boat. Blue whale and landscape from camphor wood and a small corner of Pulai wood. The blue whale is assembled from 2 pieces and the fluke is enlarged. Give whales a decent living space. The real green is more bluish.

Hiding in the shade of a small rocky wall, this suricate escaped from being hunted. Its not alone, the friends are checking the area around and will signal as soon as they see predators. Standing in a piece of driftwood, itself the suricate is carved from mango wood.

May be this trunk of a teak tree was carried away from the jungle by an elephant,as this piece is over 100 years old. The elephant was cut from the inner part of this chunk of teak wood.

Once upon a time these strong animals were forced to carry illegally cut teak wood out of the deep jungles of Myanmar. They had no choice but to destroy their own habitat.If they only were able to understand what they were forced to do.....a disc of very old teak wood from Java....
